If you are in hurry then you will not find it appropriate to sit around and read that lengthy article or to watch a 10 minute video. This is when a bookmarking Android App can be helpful for you.

With the help of a good bookmarking app, you can easily save a link to an article or a video so you can have a look at that stuff in your free time. There are different bookmarking apps that can be used by you if you are an Android user. However, you must know which app is best for this purpose.

Instapaper ($2.9)

Instapaper is a good app for those who don’t want to get into complicated processes for bookmarking a link. With only a few taps, you can bookmark anything that you want and get access to it at any time easily. If you are using a browser, app or any other tool to read something then by opening the share option, you can save the file for future reading.

You know what is the best thing about this bookmarking app? Well, all the bookmarked data is automatically uploaded to your online account. You can access that data easily from any other mobile device as well.

If you are using your computer and you want to read that article or watch that video then you can access your bookmark history at This will give you complete access to your bookmark history and you will be able to access any link that you like.

Once you will open the Instapaper app, you will get a complete list of the bookmarks so you can access them easily. You will also find buttons with the help of which you can toggle between Archive, Read Later Items and Liked items as well.

This app also allows you to make more folders to organize your bookmarks. If you want then you can move the items up or down by tapping the pencil icon in front of all the bookmarked items.

Pocket (Free)

Now, let us take a look at the Pocket which is the successor of a very famous but no longer available bookmarking tool called Read It Later. The Pocket not only offers some of the same features that are offered by Instapaper but it also contain some unique features as well.

If you have signed for a free pocket account, it is not that difficult to save items to your list. It doesn’t matter what you are viewing, you can simply save it to pocket but hitting the share menu and sharing that item with pocket.

All the bookmarked will be cached by Pocket and it will store the data on SD card. If you don’t want to store that data on SD card then you can select otherwise too.

There is one thing that I really like about pocket and that is; it shows the best version of your saved bookmark. This really makes it easy for any person to use this bookmarking app.

Which One Is Best?

For me, Pocket is the winner in this case. First, it is free of cost and secondly, the features are very simple and easy. You will not face any confusion or problems while using this app. On the other hand, Instapaper is a paid app and still, it needs to learn so many things from Pocket.
