Many ways are available to send things to other people. But if you want to send anything especially files via your smartphone is very much limited. Normally, people use MMS, SMS and e.mail like they have since the old Blackberry days.

Other services like FTP servers are better used on standard computers, but on the smartphones. Now, two apps such as CloudSend and Send It are available to send the file from one smartphone to other.

CloudSend & Send It

Both these apps function pretty much the same way, in that they use cloud storage as an MMS inbox and outbox of sorts.

Send It:

The Send It app uses the Google drive to send the files via smartphones. For this users just need to have an Google Account. Since, android device users already have one, this should not be too much difficult.

Just open the app, pick a file you want to send and pick a contact to whom you have to send. That’s it the app then automatically upload the file to Google Drive and sends the recipient a link when complete.

CloudSend:

It does exactly the same thing like Send It app, but with a few minor difference. First, this app uses the Dropbox instead of Google Drive. Second, unlike Send It, it makes the users wait until the file is uploaded before it gives the option to send the link to a friend.

These two apps are really excellent for sending files that you normally cannot send easily. MMS is only compatible with a few file types, and current online cloud solutions are still centered around computers.

If you want to download the CloudSend then get it from here. And also Send It app is available here.
