At IFA, 2012 Samsung unveiled all new Galaxy Note 2 with exciting features. Along with this Samsung also announced for the availability of Software Development Kit for the S Pen.
The S Pen SDK 2.2 should help developers bring several features found on the Galaxy Note 2 to other S Pen-touting devices, the original Note included.
The update SDK contains:
- UX scenario
- Content awareness
- Expanded drawing tools
Of note is the tool that allows apps to feel the presence of S Pen even when there is no physical contact between the stylus and the screen.
Available only for the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Note 10.1 is the ability the launch features when the S Pen is detached or when the earphone is attached.
As for the expanded doodling tools, a new calligraphy brush has been added to the list of pen with new coloring features, 33 image effects and an improved Graphical User Interface.
Samsung has unveiled its most of the devices at the Samsung’s Unpacked event just a day ahead of the IFA and has also launched many updates for its presently running smartphones.
