Google Drive, Music & Wallet Upgraded With New Features

Google Drive is updated with all new features including Wallet as well as Music.

Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service by Google that was released on April 24 2012. Google Drive is now a home of Google Docs, a suit of productivity android applications that offer collaborative editing on documents, spreadsheets, presentations and more.

Google Drive gives all users 5GB of cloud storage to start with. A user can get additional storage which is shared between Picasa & Google Drive from 25GB upto 16TB through a paid monthly subscription plan of 2.49$ per month for 25GB.

Data storage of files up to 1GB total in size was introduced on January 13, 2010 but has since been increased to 10GB. Documents using Google Docs native formats do not count towards this quota. The largely anticipated cloud storage feature by Google is said to be replacing its new Docs features.

Google Wallet is a mobile payment system developed by Google that allows its users to store debit cards, credit cards, loyalty cards and gift cards among other things, as well as redeeming sales promotions on their mobile phone.

Google Wallet uses near field communications to make secure payments fast and convenient by simply tapping the phone on any PayPass-enabled terminal at checkout.

Triangle of Google apps have been upgraded in Google Play Store. The up gradations include minor bug fixes. Google Music brings new music options and other minor fixes.

The improved features of Google Drive also include folder creation, improved editor features and more. Finally, Google Wallet favored an update with new payment features and secures money storage for the users on a free version as well as on contract basis.
