The Google I/O developers Conference was held last week in which officials from Google introduced many new and exciting Android Products. We will be taking a look at some best products that were introduced and making a buzz in the online world at the moment.

Google Nexus 7 Tablet

Some of the major products that were launched on developer’s conference are Google Nexus 7 Tablet which is available for only $199 and it has been built in a partnership with Asus.

The tablet is neither small nor very big as it has only a 7-inch screen. It contains the IPS feature which stands for In-Plane Switching and the resolution is 1280×800 HD. Tegra 3, quad-core processor has been used in the tablet to bring it directly at the competition with Microsoft’s Surface.

Some other specs of the tablet includes, 1.2 MP front camera, micro USB port, 1GB of internal memory, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It can also use NFC which is also called Android Beam with the help of which users can transfer data from one device to another just by tapping them with each other.

The tablet is super thin and it can be compared with a large greeting card in size. The weight of the tablet is just 0.8lb. You can place a pre-order at Google Play store if you want to buy Google Nexus 7. 8GH storage device is available for $199 and 16GB storage device is available for $249.

Google has paid less attention towards the hardware design of the tablet and more attention towards the software and the price of Nexus 7. Google is not making the hardware but this has been done by Asus. However, Google is working very closely to make such software applications that can be used easily.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

The most rumored product that was introduced at the conference was new Android OS called Jelly Bean. It is clear that the whole conference was mostly about Android OS 4.1 Jelly Bean and less about other products and developments.

Did you notice that Google always introduces a new OS in alphabetical order? Well, let’s have a look; Cupcake, Donut, Éclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich and now the Jelly Bean. This isn’t a coincidence but a properly planned launch.

The first device that will run Jelly Bean is going to be Nexus 7. The OS will have Chrome as the default browser which is good news for those who are tired of using the default browser of Android OS. Google also claims that the device has 9 hours of battery life which is actually great.

Engineers at Google also demonstrated that the Jelly Bean has the ability to recognize touch of finger easily as compared to previous versions. The layout of new Android OS has been simplified which makes it even more user friendly and easy to use.

The best feature of Jelly Bean is the new search experience by Google. This is a direct answer to Apple’s Siri. New OS by Google will help you get directions and suggestions based on your location, history and places that you visit the most.
