How to Install JellyBean/Any ROM/Any Kernel in Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000

Hi guys this guide is for the Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 user. So, other users do not try this.

And also note that this method will work not work on GingerBread. You can use this method to install JellyBean. In-fact you can further use to install any kernel and any ROM.

Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000

Pre requisites:

  • We strongly advise you to take backup of all your datas (i.e SMS, MMS, Call logs, APN Settings etc) which was available in your phone. Just in case, you lost your data due to any reason you could recover them with the help of backups.
  • We also advise you to charge your device battery fully. At-least 70% of charge is recommend from our side; to avoid your device getting switched off due to battery low during the middle of the process.
  • Disable or uninstall all the antivirus suites because this may interrupt the process.
  • Enable the USB Debugging option in your device by following the path Settings>Applications>USB Debugging.

Before start to proceed download the given below files:

1. Root _SuperSu
2. Mobile Odin pro
3. Safe Kernel Hydracore- Standard Kernel (no OC), OC/UV kernel (with overclock/undervolt)
4. JB 4.1 Nightlies
5. Gapps.

Instructions:

  • If you are unrooted then start from Step-1.
  • Suppose you already root your device but having unsafe kernel then start from Step-2
  • If you are already rooted and having safe kernel then start from step-3

Step-1:

  • First reboot your device into recovery by pressing the Volume Up Button + Home button + Power Button.
  • Then select install zip from Memory.
  • After that again select Root_SuperSu 0.95 you have downloaded and flash it.
  • Then finally reboot your Galaxy Note.

Step-2:

  • Install Mobile OdinPro
  • Open Mobile Odin (let it auto download something) and select kernel and select the Hydracorekernel file you have downloaded.
  • Device will reboot.
  • You are now EMMC bug free. Wipe it on.

Step-3:

  • Reboot to recovery by pressing the Volume Up Button + Home button + Power Button.
  • Select wipe data/Factory reset and wipe cache partition.

Step-4:

  • Select install zip from Memory.
  • First select JellyBean file
  • Then again select Gapps
  • Finally reboot.

That’s it. You’ve done now enjoy the JellyBean features in your Galaxy Note GT-N7000.
