How to root Samsung Rugby Smart (SGH-I847, Galaxy W Variant) using ClockWork Recovery

Hi folks if you have Samsung Rugby Smart and if you want to root your device by using Clockwork recovery then you can make use of this tutorial. If you want to root your device by using Stock Recovery instead of Clockwork recovery then follow this tutorial.

Actually, this is a non-destructive method so you no need to afraid of anything. But still for safer side follow the given below pre requisites without fail before start to proceed the instruction.

Pre requisites:

  • We strongly recommend you to take full backup of your internal datas with the help of backup applications. Just in case if you lost your data due to any reason you could easily recovery them with the help of backups.
  • Then charge your device battery fully or else your device may get switched off during the middle of the process due to battery low.
  • And also disable or uninstall all the antivirus suites in your mobile because this may interrupt the process.
  • Enable the USB Debugging in your device by following the path “Settings > Applications > USB Debugging”.

Instructions:

1. First download the cwmr_root.zip from here to your computer.

2. So, once you have downloaded then copy the same to your SD card.

3. After that boot your device into the recovery mode.

4. Their you need to select “install zip from SD card” and also Select “Choose zip from SD card”

6. After that go to the zip then select the zip and finally confirm the same.

7. After that reboot your device. Please make a note that rebooting will take some time than the expected time and wait until it has been finished.

8. After that your Samsung Rugby Smart has been rooted. Enjoy its features!
