HTC ONE S is the best looking android phone to be ever released in the market. Sure you can say its specs are below its big brother HTC ONE X but that doesn’t matter because the device is such a joy to look at. HTC made sure to equip it with an amazing beautiful body that is constant throughout the device.
Today in this article we take a closer look at the HTC ONE S.
Looks And Feel
HTC ONE S measures 130.9 x 65 x 7.8 mm and weighs only 119.5 g. The device is noticeably taller than the HTC Sensation but is lighter. ONE S is designed to be a looker with a curved gorilla glass and an aluminum back which is uniform and is very comfortable to touch.
You can get the device in two different styles one is with anodized aluminum with gradients of shades of medium to darker grey and the other is an aluminum surface with a distinct ceramic finish.
The front of the device is taken up the gorgeous 4.3inch qHD resolution 540×960 Super AMOLED display which offers very good color representation and excellent viewing angles. The sunlight legibility of the display is also excellent. The display has infinite contrast levels also so the colors appear more crisp and sharp.
The device is very solidly built with the microUSB port on the left side and volume rocker buttons on the right side which are long enough that they are comfortable enough to press. There are no hardware keys on the front of the device because with ICS the hardware keys are not necessary.
Instead you get capacitive keys which lights up whenever you turn the display on. At the top of the device you get a power/lock button on the right side and on the left side you get a 3.5mm audio jack in which you can plug in the headsets of your choice.
On the back you get an 8MP camera with an LED flash and the top panel is removable for inserting the microSIM but there is no microSD card slot and the battery is also non removable.
The device is powered by 16650mAh battery which as quoted by HTC can provide you with 9hrs and 42min of 3G calls and 4hrs of web browsing. Not bad for a device of such power. HTC ONE S is truly an amazing phone that can be easily pocketed and also is very comfortable to hold in one hand.
