The LG recently release the another promo video soliciting their 13 megapixel Optimus G will feature the “World’s Best Camera” for smartphones atleast.
The new Camera module inside the upcoming LG Optimus G will be the world’s best camera and have the best image quality available in the smartphone market.
The highest resolution in a smartphone, seems to have been achieved by shrinking the pixels, which could have major side effects in the camera’s actual performance. The Optimus G’s shooter has 1.1 microns pixel size on a 1/3″ sensor size, which is not only lower than on the Nokia 808 PureView or Lumia 920, but also the Galaxy S3 and iPhone 4S cams.
One sad thing about Optimus G is that, some regions will only get the 8 megapixel model and not all 13 megapixel.
LG believes that the new launch of Optimus G smartphone will start a new trend and help to improve their brand image moving forward. Samsung’s currently leading the Android charge in all areas but this new Optimus G with its quad-core and 4.7-inch display could change that.
