How to Update Update Motorola Razr XT 910 with Official ICS 4.0.4 Firmware

  • Initially, download OTA Root Keeper from Google Play store if you want to keep the root even after applying the update. Next, Download ICS Android 4.0.4 Zip Package directly to your Computer.
  • Transfer the ZIP file you downloaded to your phone by connecting your phone to computer using USB cable.
  • Disconnect the phone from the computer.
  • Now we will have to enter the device into recovery mode. To enter into recovery mode, press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down + Power button.
  • In recovery mode, select ‘wipe data/factory reset’ and ‘wipe cache partition’ so that you can clear the cache. Next, select ‘Install ZIP from SD card’ and on the next screen, select ‘Choose ZIP from SD card’ and then select the ICS Android 4.0 ROM ZIP file as you transferred this file earlier and the installation process would start and finish in 5-8 minutes.
  • After it is done, select the option of ‘+++Go back+++’ and then ‘reboot System now’ and the device would restart into normal mode.

        I installed ICS 4.0.4 leak , it works fine , i tried to install another rom of ics , black widow and Eclipse , after the instalation if finished i reboot the device , it wont boot to normal mode , black screen , what shuld i do ?

    Choose ZIP from SD card, decat: 
    wipe data 
    wipe cache partition
    update blur_version…
    si i-am dat update si nu imi merge ma da afara 🙁

    si imi apare:

    ce poate sa fie de nu merge?

    After the instalation is done , the device wont power up to normal mode , black screen , for how long should i wait till it will power up to the new rom?

    Hola, instale ics en un xt910 de telcel, todo funciono al 100%, se actualizaron todas las app,,pero ahora se reinicia cada 20 min. Funciona perfecto solo eso, ya le hice un wipie cache, refresh factori y nada. algun consejo.felixv1607@gmail.com
