Huawei have grown in recent years because they have manufactured their own quad core chipset which they claim to be the fastest quad core chipset ever to be made. So now Huawei have earned its place besides Texas Instrument, Samsung, NVidia and Qualcomm in the chip manufacturing business.
So now let’s take a look at some of the devices that have been unveiled by Huawei.
Huawei Ascend D Quad:
This is already the most talked about phone in MWC this year. It features 4.5inch IPS display supporting a resolution of 1280×720 with a pixel density of 330ppi. The display is simply stunning with vivid colors and also it has excellent sunlight legibility.
Ascend D Quad is powered by Huawei very own quad core chipset the K3V2 processors clocked at 1.2 GHz and 1.5 GHz speed. Along with a powerful processor you also get 1 GB of RAM. Due to such impressive specs the phone performs very splendidly without any lags or what so ever in Android 4.0 ICS.
The device is designed very splendidly and holding it is very comfortable and will give you the premium feel as would be expected from such a high end droid. The device also features an 8MP camera with dual LED flash which is able to record 1080p videos and at the front you get a 1.3MP camera which will take care of video calling.
Among other features you also get Bluetooth 3.0, WI-FI, 5.1 surround sound with Dolby Mobile 3.0 Plus.
Huawei Ascend D1:
This device is aimed at mid-range droids and features TI OMAP 4460 with 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. The display of this device is 4.5inch with a 720p IPS display having a pixel density of 330ppi.
It also has an 8MP camera and is able to record videos at 1080p resolution and 1.3MP front facing camera which will take care of your video calling needs.
Huawei MediaPad 10.1:
This is a tablet that Huawei have claimed which will easily give iPAD3, transformer prime a run for their money. This tablet also features their own quad core processor K3V2 clocked at 1.5 Ghz with 2 GB of RAM will ensure smooth performance.
The device also features a FullHD 1920 x 1200 resolution display with a pixel density of 226ppi on which images and videos appear very sharp and crisp. You will not find this kind of display on any ultrabook, tablet or netbook. Storage of the device is limited to 8GB built in but you can expand it via microSD slot up to 32 GB.
The tablet is very slim and is constructed of aluminum unibody design. The tablet is very comfortable to hold. The MediaPad 10.1 is expected to cause quite a stir in the tablet world with its specs and performance. The tablet will be available for purchase in Q2 of 2012
