Samsung having teamed up with Music application maker MusicQubed in order to launch an official UK Top 40 chart app through its range of smartphones. This application will unveil on the Galaxy SII, which has launched yesterday in UK.Apparently will roll out across the Galaxy line through the Google Play Store. Unfortunately, we don’t have this option for usage on our Galaxy SIII due to our being on an “unsupported network” (go figure), and our jelly Bean’d Galaxy Nexus was considered incompatible also.

For the ones with a compatible configuration containing handsets and supported carrier, the MusicQubed chart app, Samsung says gives the users unlimited plays of the current UK top 40. It actually works by caching overnight, which means you don’t have to stream out of your cellular data allowance. The application also provides “daily celebrity news updates”. You will also find social integration of both Twitter and the Facebook. Samsung Galaxy phone owners will get free access to the application for two months, after that it will cost £1 per week.
