Samsung Officially Announces Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Student Edition

Samsung has made official announcement about a student edition of the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, complete with a keyboard dock and USB adapter. The deal will be  available for a limited time.

The student edition is a limited edition and the device is made available on the shelves for roughly two weeks. The keyboard dock and USB adapter constitute a
bundle worth $350, but Samsung is still selling it for $249.The student edition possibly is open to everyone for purchase.

Students are bound to realize substantial benefits from the keyboard plus USB bundle which makes it perfect for typing research reports, creating presentations and multimedia for enjoying movies and music.

Travis Merrill, Director of Marketing explained that the education market was a significant priority for Samsung, and that Samsung was pleased to deliver the bundle to students at a very competitive price point.

This android tab has been presented as a truly smarter way to learn. The new bundle also includes an insert of recommended educational apps from Google Play.

The features of Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 include a powerful dual-core tablet runing Android 4.0.The device features an integrated IR blaster making universal remote capabilities available. It also features a memory card slot for convenient loading of multimedia files in many supported file formats.

The tablet also offers content access in a sleek design which makes for a maximum entertainment experience. Users can easily find their favorite shows using the Smart Remote App and the built in IR blaster. Users can choose from more than 450,000 apps, tons of web pages with Adobe flash enabled and access movies and TV shows from Google Play and Media Hub.
