Sony Tears Down Its Own Sony Xperia S Tablet

Sony recently launched its new Xperia series android devices and one such Xperia series device is all new Sony Xperia Tablet. Recently teardown features of this device were investigated by HIS iSuppli and iFixit.

These firms’ iSuppli and iFixit conducts teardown tests to know in detail about the features of the devices in detail and also to test the hardware components of the devices.

This teardown of Sony Xperia S tablet shows the information about the device components, features, hardware parts such as battery, multi-port connector and LCD ribbon including camera, screen, connecting threads and much more.

The comparison of this new Sony Xperia S tablet with that of the older version showed interesting changes in design and hardware components.
The interesting features of this device includes:

NVIDIA Tegra3 mobile processor (1.4 Ghz quad-core) with Android 4.9. An interesting screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels TFT screen and 1GB RAM. This device is available as 16GB/32GB/64GB models.

This device has a smart camera with 8mega pixels picture quality and front camera of 1mega pixels.

Some other interesting observations include:

The LCD screen of this device takes time to be detached due to splash-proof nature of the screen. The device is made with a magnesium frame for good durability and handling as its light in weight.

The plastic panels of this device are held together with adhesive and hooks that require some careful handling.

Moreover, the battery of this device is made by Sony but it is thin and larger than that of the previous models of this device.
