Introduction:

The Xperia Z is one of the best smartphone released by Sony. You know why? It is not only a stylish smartphone, but also a dustproof and waterproof smartphone; which means if you soaked the device into the water even for 30 minutes, still it works normally.

Even if you throw that in a dust chamber its operation is unaffected. Further it has shatter proof and scratch proof. So, obviously we can say it is one of the best smartphone of this year.

Sony Xperia Z (2)

The Sony Xperia Z comes with 5 inched TFT Capacitive Touchscreen, 2GB RAM and 1.5 GHz Quad Core Krait Processor which makes this device super speed. It also comes with FM Radio, Micro SD Card slot and Jellybean 4.1.2 firmware.

Pretty pixels :

It’s display, with its 443 pixels per inch, is bright and colorful without being over-saturated. Video playback looks terrific, as do photos you have shoot on the handset’s camera which, with its 13 Mp resolution sensor, is no slouch.

Battery life:

The another best thing of this smartphone is it comes with advanced power management technology which ensures that the device doesn’t run out of battery quickly.

Battery-Stamina

A big screen means you will need some power to keep it lit up, not to mention to service the quad-core processor as it zooms along. All this on an Android phone- an operating system which is known for running programs in the background and reduce the battery life.

But the battery is not removable, so the space is taken up with the minimum packaging and maximum juice. And there’s is a Stamina Battery mode to eke out the most power. Turn on this mode and a lot of the phone shuts down.

For example : The WiFi, Bluetooth and mobile data are disabled, though calls, texts and alarms will still be enabled. The software, that’s mid-download will finish before the data connection cuts out.
These changes happen as soon as the screen turns off, and are re-enabled when you start using the phone again.

Do you know how much the Battery Stamina Mode will help? Well, if the calculations on-screen are accurate, it can boost the remaining standby time from eight hours to two and a half days. Whatever the exact figures, it certainly helps. Even without stamina mode, you can use the Sony Xperia Z for full day without charging.

4G:

The Sony Xperia Z is a 4G smartphone. For now, that means it is capable of high speeds only on the EE network, though the frequencies built into the phone mean it will be 4G-compatible on other networks, after the current frequency auction is concluded.

Xperia Z

The Vodafone network, announced that the customers who are buying Sony Xperia Z smartphone can be switched to 4G when it arrives. The company is currently taking pre-orders for the phone and the first 1,000 customers will receive a £299 pair of Sony headphones free. The headphones are the company’s impressive MDR-1R cans and are worth having.

Waterproof:

I have mentioned earlier that, it is a waterproof smartphone. The technology behind this smart-work is all it’s holes like power, headphone, SIM Card slot are made with plastic flaps which clip into place. They are little fiddly but they work well.

Sony Xperia Z- Water Resistance

Let’s be clear here. Actually, the Sony Xperia Z is made up of capacitive touchscreens. The nature of this touchscreen is that; they work by a weak electrical field on the surface of the phone being interrupted by another electrical field like you finger. So, if the screen is drenched in water.

Price and Availability:

The Sony confirmed that this Xperia Z smartphone will be available in three major Australian carriers such Telstra, Optus and Vodafone. The Telstra will sell black and white variants of the Xperia Z in some selected bricks and mortar retail stores.

The Optus will range the black model of the Xperia Z in selected retail stores and online. It will be available in mid-March but it doesn’t reveal anything regarding it’s price.

Finally, Vodafone will range the Xperia Z in black. Both in online and offline from 13th March. This plan includes $700 worth of calls, 1GB of data and unlimited SMS messages per month.

The exact price of this smartphone is not available as of now. But expected to be announced very soon.

Conclusion:

Sony’s previous Xperia devices always lack some small thing. Aside from the lack of Android 4.2, the Xperia Z device doesn’t lack anything and comes with many impressive and unexpected specifications.

Upto this I want to conclude with few words. In a single line, we can say Sony Xperia Z is full of innovations and excellence.
