ZTE is the world’s fourth largest manufacturer of smartphones. In the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, it revealed the two new smartphones one is ZTE Grand Memo ‘phablet’ and the first Firefox OS-based smartphone ZTE Open.
In this article we are going to discuss about ZTE Open smartphone. It is the first smartphone to run on Mozilla’s Firefox OS open mobile ecosystem. Together with Telefonica, ZTE launched the ZTE Open smartphone in Spain.
Mozilla’s Firefox OS is HTML5-based and completely open source which allows you to run the apps which are based on web. Firefox OS comes integrated with Twitter and Facebook apps which is based on a completely intuitive interface.
Features of ZTE Open:
It comes with 3.5 inches of capacitive touch screen display and comes with the 1.GHz of Snapdragon S1 processor. It has 3.2 megapixel of fixed focus camera, 256 MB of RAM, 512 MB of internal memory, Wi Fi capability of 802.11b/g/n along with Bluetooth 2.1 and AGPS and 1200m AH.
Eventhough the ZTE Open do not contain lots of specs it is a very good phone who would like to use a simple OS.
